Washer Bracelet

Last week, I made this necklace out of washers and I really love it... although sometimes, perhaps it is a little heavy for just a regular outing.  But, I found these little washers in the basement and decided to make a more petite bracelet!  I used about 12 inches of leftover ribbon and 7 washers.

Inspiration Necklance
Finished bracelet:
I used the weaving technique from this website.  What do you think?  It ties in the back (or bottom, what do you call that part of the bracelet?)  And, it incorporates my love of houndstooth!

It wraps really naturally around the wrist - and yes, I do have a hand, although it doesn't look like it here!  And that's a pole bean in my grasp!  Anyways, I think I might make a few more of these, and a more petite necklace from these little washers!

The best part???  All these pieces came from my craft stash... therefore, it was FREE!  Woohooo!

  3. Super cute idea! I just [ink] stamped some washers for the men in my life for father's day but this would be a great way to use this industrial supply for ladies! Love it and TFS! new follower form TT&J. :) I'm a technical "newbie", too, stop by when you can!
