If you know anything about my husband and I, we live in a divided household. In the Southeastern Conference (the SEC), collegiate affiliation is thicker than blood and I was raised Gator. My husband is attending graduate school at the University of Tennessee. This is bad news. There is no cheering for two teams in this house and no one wants to give up their team.
As football season approaches, I needed something festive for my front door, but knew that we couldn't have a just UT or just UF wreath... thus the "House Divided Wreath"
What do you think? I love the playfulness of the ribbon wreath!
FUN! I was thinking of making a t-shirt like this for the Texas vs BYU game (my husband is going to Texas this fall but we both finished our undergrad at BYU). I decided it might be too dangerous to wear to a game ;)

I love this! It's such a fun take on the "house divided" license plates... especially when no one has made one for your two schools (but they are quite obviously rivals)! And I think it's totally legit to remain a loyal fan to your own team... man, I'm getting excited about football season just typing this! : )
